This program is at the forefront of the lacking but necessary trauma informed supportive services in foster care. As a foster parent and a therapist - I cannot begin to express the excitement to offer Stable Moments to my community

This course was excellent. I was able to work at my own pace, which allowed me to review concepts for as long as I needed. It was inspiring to have the skills and format laid out, and a structure for the program already in place.

Awesome, Awesome, Awesome! I love the ongoing support and tools. I am so grateful for this program, and Rebecca "gets" what I need!
Prerequisites
The certification training is an advanced course in the Stable Moments model. All attendees must read the book Stable Moments: Changing the trajectory for youth in foster care prior to attending the training.

Because many of the Stable Moments activities are based on natural horsemanship principles, and certified members are expected to train community mentors in these activities, natural horsemanship skills are key to becoming certified.

All persons seeking certification must attend no less than 3 hours of natural horsemanship training prior to attending the Stable Moments certification training. Attendees will be required to attend the full training and pass a skills test to receive their certification.
