Roughout Ranch Foundation develops social recreation and life skills programs to inspire, motivate and enrich the physical, mental and social health of vulnerable and underserved populations with the use of ranch- and equine-assisted activities and learning and life skills programs. 

Horses and ranch life fosters healthy transitions, independence and promotes awareness of critical traits, such as sense of purpose and community, nutritional awareness, and building confidence. Using equine-assisted activities and learning and life skills programs, we can achieve our goal to improve the quality of life, self-confidence, and overall health.

Roughout Ranch Foundation is a 501©3 non-profit founded in 2019 by Kathy O’Donnell.  The populations we mostly serve are special needs kids and adults, foster kids, veterans, at-risk youth and we are very excited to be able to offer the Stable Moments® program to our community.  We will be starting sessions in first quarter of 2022.  I also chose the Stable Moments model because Rebecca Britt did an excellent job of creating an entire program for me that I can include into Roughout Ranch’s services.
